Baby Bald Eagles

I took this picture on May 10th. The young eaglets are not visible yet as the adult feeds them.
Three weeks later the young are up on the edge of the nest feeding.

and stretching their wings to balance. First flight is still a few weeks away.
Pardon the blurry pictures. I am a few hundred yards from the nest so I do not disturb these magnificent creatures.

wow - neat. I have seen their nest up in the mountain states and in Alaska but not the young. So cool to have it where you can take photo's.

Awesome!! That's such a fantastic sight. I've been enjoying the sun (finally) and Cameron and I have been watching the Fantails and Tui's at our place.
