The day started like this, a misty morning and a deer enjoying breakfast outside my studio window.
A little later I spied these two groundhogs behind the house.
They are summer guests this year, lodging in the old chicken coop.
At day's end we watched the sunset.

How cute they are! I absolutely love the picture of the deer in the mist. How lovely. We've had 100+ degree weather and extreme heat here for 2 weeks in a row and I'm so tired of it. It would be so awesome to sit on your grass in all that mist.
