Hancocks of Paducah

Here are some photos of our stop at Hancock's of Paducah. I knew what I was getting into but it was still a bit of a shock. This is the largest fabric store I have been in to date! Oh so much to see. Many rows of drapery and upholstery fabrics.
The discount room...OH BOY!

Bolts and bolts of fabric. So many notions. And me...

Here I am with my empty shopping cart. This photo was taken so I could prove to my husband that I was well behaved at Hancock's. I was....almost.

I've been there and love that store - I never leave empty handed but try to control myself :)

I'm hoping that empty shopping cart was at the START of your visit and not the end!

in Australia we have an expression 'like a pig in mud' which is how I feel at Pearl Paints. I guess you were feeling the same.

The largest fabric shop I have been to is in Wyoming called Big Horn Quilts. They sell on line.
So tell us how much did you come home with?

BTW there is an award for you waiting on my blog. Do come to receive it as you richly deserve it. (Sunday 4/26)
