Late Fall and Winter Approaches

This time of year can be a bit bittersweet. You can feel winter's approach in late October. The sun is lower during the day. Parts of our valley now stay in the shade until near sunset. The sun will not start to warm our house until after 10:00 am.

I took these photos a couple of weeks ago at 9:30 am.

I echo that. Thank you for giving us a glimpse of your Autumn. My house is very cold these days becasue the sun is so much lower and doesn't get round to the kitchen before it drops down behind the hedge. Brrr!!

Thanks for the glimpse of changing seasons. Can't say we see much of that in Texas. Though I know it will be cold for you, I'm looking forward to seeing pictures of your countryside covered in snow! :) I'm sure it will be stunning and your quilts will keep you warm.
