100th Blog Post Giveaway

It is hard to believe that this is my 100th post. I have known this day was coming and have been trying to decide what to give away in celebration. Because I have not been able make up my mind, I thought I'd let you choose. Please take a minute to log onto my Etsy shop, Shady Grove Studios, and pick your favorite item. Then leave a comment for me with your choice. I know which items I like and I'd love to hear your favorites. I will choose 2 winners a week from Sunday on November 16th.

Writing this blog has allowed me to tap into my creativity in a new way. I started taking pictures as an opportunity to discover more about light and shadow. I wanted to improve my drawing skills and gain confidence to be used when I learn to paint in the not so distant future. Taking time to write about the things I enjoy has helped me focus and develop new ideas. I have notebook full of projects waiting to be started. But I have to say the best thing that has come out of blogging is the wonderful people I have met. Your creativity and spirit lifts me up and I thank you for your friendships.

Chris,
Your work is beautiful! My favorite has to be the Shades of Autumn - Gold Orange Red & Brown "Butterscotch". I know how hard it is to create something this color combination and would be honored to "win" it.

congrats on your 100th! I love your quilt block jewelry, esp the purple earrings-but my daughter fell in love with your hot pink dyed dress with the ruffle design in a size 10, so that is what I'd choose-it would look great on her come summertime!

Chris congrats on your 100th post!
Isn't blogland awesome? I too have been so inspired by knowing all the artists here, yourself included. I am especially touched by your reactions to my quilt(s). ;-)

If I were lucky enough to win something from your lovely store although hard to pick I think I'd love to be the proud owner of some of your hand dyed fabrics. Very generous of you to offer up such wonderful prizes for some lucky person(s).

Congratulations on your 100th blog post! (I just saw that I posted my 102nd posting today - completely overlooked the 100th...)
It's hard to choose a favourite among all the beautiful things in your shop, but I think the log cabin brooch that is shown in this post is my favourite (although the purple handdyed fabric comes a very close second!).
Greetings from Australia,
Linda

I guess my favorite on your etsy were the stacks of hand dyes, especially the greens to blues. Good luck with your give away.

Chris -

I love all your work! I am particularly attached to the brown flying geese earrings - they remind me of our non-migratory flocks here in Naperville.

Any chance you could have brass colored metals for your work? I know there are limitations in all craft endeavors. Just wondering.

Please keep up the blog! I love the nature photos AND the craft updates.
