Mother Nature Laughed

Yesterday my husband and I were shoveling the walk. He looked up at the sky and exclaimed

"You call this snow? This is a wimpy snow!"

God smiled and Mother Nature laughed and met his challenge.

This morning we found 12 more inches of snow on the front porch. The birds were lining up at the feeders waiting for their meal (click on the picture to enlarge).

Greetings from frigid Wisconsin! Chris

Oh brrr....but it looks pretty. Should I tell you that it was 86* here today??? It makes up for our lousy summer we had.

"It's not nice to fool Mother Nature..." I've seen your trees full of birds, but I've never seen them queuing up in the snow. Great pictures! Do stay warm...

This post gave me a good giggle. I presume the snow has melted by now .... or it has snowed again several times. Hubby was certainly asking for it!
