Most of our county is still largely farm land or woodlands. The properties were sold in 40 acre sections back in the late 1860’s. Our property is 2 of these sections. Many of the working farms nearby are 2-3 times that amount. Parts of our county allow you to build on small parcels of land. Our township requires homes are built on 40 acres or more.
